GENES:IS - die Entstehung von Lanzarote begann vor 36 Millionen Jahren mit der Gründung; die charakteristischen Vulkane bildeten sich vor 15 - 2 Millionen Jahren und das ausgedehnte Lavafeld ist das Ergebnis des letzten Ausbruchs von 1730 -36. Die Vulkane sind immer noch heiß, schon in etwa 27 Metern Tiefe herrschen 700° Celsius. Ich bin immer noch beeindruckt von der vulkanischen Landschaft Lanzarotes und der großen Bandbreite an Farben von Gestein und Sediment. Ein Teil unserer Erde, geformt um zu sein und zu bleiben - GENES:IS
